XI and captain are ranked by projected points (xPts)— our model earned that job by predicting four past seasons without seeing the answers and beating the obvious guess (last season's average) in all of them. Tactico Scores are shown as context, never as the FPL selector. We never claim an edge over the market.

What's real: every player, price, ownership %, points total, xG/xA and minutes is a bound row in fq_league_players (FPL snapshot fpl-2026-09-02). The Tactico Score is joined from fq_player_scores_current via the entity map — present for 470 of 651 FPL players; the rest are shown without a score, never judged on a made-up one. Rules (£100m, 15 players, 2/5/5/3, max 3/club) come from fq_league_rules.
What's live: the xPts projection engine (validated against four past seasons, walk-forward) picks the XI and captain. What's next: screenshot parsing (behind the model adapter) and richer fixture-difficulty views. Nothing here is a hand-typed number.
